No better time than the New Year to take stock of where we are and become re-energized. After taking a break from this website last year, it is time to get back to the grind. 2019 was a year of many ups and downs. On the negative side, it was a year with multiple health problems for family members, which took up a good chunk of emotional energy. On the positive side, my partner and I married, we went on a honeymoon to Italy and Greece, I started managing a team of mental health professionals at my job, and many other great things. Keeping a compassionate and understanding view of myself, I think it makes sense I took a step back from blog writing. However, now it is a new year and I am ready and excited to share new things with the readers.
Most critically, I am working on creating free worksheets that readers can download and use themselves. While there are some great online resources already, I often find that they do not always get at my style of approaching clinical work. So this is a way to access worksheets for myself that I can use in the future, as well as allow others to use the same worksheets. I hope you find them helpful. The long-term plan is to create a collection of worksheets that readers can purchase that will also include instructions for how to best use the worksheets, give examples of completed worksheets, etc. Lots of good things to come! Thanks for reading and hope we all have a happy and productive 2020, we've got this!
